Jake Didn’t Count Himself Out.

Jake was 21 when he visited WildPlay Nanaimo.

He uses crutches, takes breaks and sometimes needs guidance with his foot placement. It would have been pretty easy to look at a Zipline Tour and an Adventure Course and assume they weren’t for him.

Jake didn’t.

“I am a 21 year old gentleman with physical limitations having to use crutches and take breaks and be guided especially with foot placement.”

Jake talked with the team about what he needed and took part in both the Zipline Tour and Adventure Course. In his review, he called out David, Caitlin, Peter and Camille for helping make the experience happen.

“They’ve made my entire week and I am going to definitely come back.”

He moved through the experience in the way that worked for him.

None of that made the experience count any less.

Jake ended his review with something for other people who might already be wondering whether an experience like this is for them:

“If you have any hesitations and have physical limitations those ladies and gents are amazingly accommodating.”
