Team building that actually builds something
Facilitated sessions built around your team's goals, at the park or at your workplace.
Facilitated Team Building
Two ways to bring your team together
Not every group needs the same thing. Some want to connect and have fun. Others want to work on something specific. Here's the difference.
A day out of the office
Your team takes on the Adventure Course together, encouraging one another through unfamiliar challenges and seeing colleagues in a different environment. It's a day out of the office that helps people reconnect, build rapport, and have fun without a formal development agenda.
Learning your team takes back to work
A trained facilitator runs team challenges built around a goal you choose, then leads a debrief that ties the experience back to how your team operates day to day. A practical challenge becomes a structured conversation about communication, decision-making, and how the team responds under pressure. Built for groups that want to take something back to work.
Shared challenges bring the team together. Facilitation turns the experience into learning they can take back to work.
Choose your objectives
Tell us what your team needs
Every session is custom designed around the outcomes your group wants. Tell us what you want the team to work on, and your facilitator builds the activities and debrief around it. The longer the session, the more objectives you can cover.
Collaboration
Clarify roles, combine different strengths, and work toward a shared result.
Communication
Practice listening, giving clear direction, and confirming understanding when pressure is high.
Problem Solving
Work through a challenge together, test approaches, and decide as a group when the obvious answer isn't working.
Adaptability
Adjust roles, decisions, and expectations when conditions change.

Common questions
Before you book
How is this different from a regular visit to WildPlay?
A regular visit is self-paced and self-guided. Facilitated Team Building focuses on intentional group development around goals you choose, with an endorsed WildPlay Facilitator guiding your team through the activities and the debrief that follows.
Do participants need to be athletic?
Facilitated team challenges are built around participation, not fitness. Most of the session is ground-based, and activities can be adjusted to the group.
Does everyone have to go on the Adventure Course?
The 4 Hour Experience combines ground-based challenges with time at height. Our 1 and 2 hour add-ons are entirely ground-based, and our off-site programs don't involve the course at all.
Can I book a 1 or 2 hour session on its own?
The 1 and 2 hour sessions are add-ons, available alongside a group Adventure Course booking. If you'd like a facilitated experience on its own, the 4 Hour Team Building Experience is a stand-alone product. Our off-site programs also book independently.
Can we combine team building with a meeting or retreat?
Yes. The 1 and 2 hour sessions are designed to fit inside a larger day, whether that's a meeting, retreat, conference, or another event.
What's the difference between on-site and off-site pricing?
On-site sessions run at WildPlay Thacher, where the 4 Hour Experience includes time at height and the shorter sessions add on to a course booking. Off-site sessions are ground-based programs our facilitators bring to your location, with no course involved, which is what makes them a lower-cost option.
