FAQ

  • The zipline is $14.99 for the first ride, and $7.99 for your second ride!*Note: walk-ins only

  • The minimum age to ride is 7 years of age.
    The maximum weight is 250lbs

  • The zipline is 300ft long, and takes approximately 15 minutes from the time you’re harnessed to the time you reach the end platform. Wait times will vary depending on the event and day, so make sure to allow extra time around your visit!

  • Only if it’s raining (or you want to jump in the lagoon after)! The Harbour Zip brings riders close to the water- but not close enough to get you wet!

  • The Downtown Nanaimo Harbour Zip is open to the public on an event-by-event basis. The current schedule is:
    July 1, July 8, July 9, July 15, July 16, July 22, July 23

  • WildPlay recommends clothes you feel comfortable moving in - wear what you normally would for any sport/activity!

    Long hair should be tied back and closed-toe shoes are required.

    Check the weather before your visit: pack sunscreen, water, and a hat if the sun will be out! (And don’t forget an energizing snack!)

  • No experience is necessary to ride the Harbour Zip! An expert WildPlay guide will walk you through all you need to know upon arrival. This is a great opportunity to take your very first zipline ride!

  • Unfortunately, the Harbour Zip is not wheelchair accessible at this time.

    We understand that this may be disappointing and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

    The Canyon Zipline Tour at WildPlay Nanaimo (located a 10 minute drive from Maffeo Sutton Park) is wheelchair accessible!
