
Q. How much is the Monkido tree courses?
A. Our Full Course is $39.99 and our Kids' Course is $19.99. Depending on the make-up of your group or party, you may qualify for group pricing.
Q. What is a Tree Course?
A. A Monkido tree course is an adventurous obstacle course set in the natural environment, in this case a Douglas Fir forest next to Bear Mountain Arena. The elements are suspended between trees, and participants stay securely clipped into a orange safety cable throughout the course. The elements of a Tree Course Park include zip lines, suspended bridges, scramble nets, swinging logs, surf boards, and much more.
Q. Is there more than one course at WildPlay West Shore Victoria?
A. Yes - there sure is! There is one Kids' Course (Yellow) and one youth/adult Full Course with four sections for those who meet the height/age requirements (Green, Blue, Red and Black).
Q. How long, in terms of time, would it take the average adult to complete all four sections in the Full Tree Course?
A. Although you can end your adventure at the end of any one of the sections, it will take you approximately 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 hours to do the Full Course (including the brief training session).
Q. How are the four sections in the Full Tree Course ranked in terms of elevation and difficulty?
A. The skill level and height of each section of the Tree Course is marked using a colour coded system indicating the challenge based on elevation and difficulty.
Q. Can I get a refund if I don't want to proceed on to a course?
A. If you don't proceed onto a course immediately following the end of your training session, you'll get a full refund. The staff member leading your training session will need to give you a coupon for you to turn in at reception to receive your refund. Once you finish your training and you start on any of the courses, you'll have forfeited any refund options.
Q. What if I don't want to go on the course myself, but I want to watch my family/friends go on the courses?
A. There are wide walking trails along the course that allow you to walk and observe others as they use and progress through the courses.
Q. Is it possible for physically disabled persons to use the Tree Course park?
A. With direct assistance it may be possible for some physically disabled people to complete some aspects of some of the courses. We would require advance notice and a brief interview to determine if it would work out. Give us a call. There may be additional costs involved.
