Donation Inquiries

At WildPlay, we believe that it is important to support our local communities. So wherever we locate an office or build a park, we give back by supporting local community groups in their efforts to make our world a better place to live.

Due to the increasing volume of requests that we receive for donations and sponsorship, WildPlay has developed guidelines to help you assess if your organization/fundraising event is in alignment with our Activity Pass Program.

Community Program Guidelines:

Protecting the natural environment and encouraging physical activity is important to our overall health and well-being as a society. To be eligible for support from us, please ensure that you meet all of the following guidelines before you fill in our on-line application.

• You are a local charity, non-profit organization or education institution located in the Greater Victoria, Nanaimo, Maple Ridge or Whistler area
   
• The organization that applies and benefits from the donation must be focused on providing or increasing physical activity or promoting kinship with the natural environment. It is a requirement to state the name of the event or campaign that the donation is attached to.
   
• Funds raised through activity passes or funds received for sponsorship must directly benefit local residents (our program does not support events or campaigns where funds are directed to research).

If your organization has met all the guidelines, you are invited to fill out our on-line application form. Application forms are reviewed on a monthly basis, so requests must be submitted a minimum of eight weeks before your event.  Please do not call our office or send emails to find out the status of your application(s). We will notify you by email with the status of your application within four to six weeks of receiving your application.
