Are you living-up (to) Labour Day?
Are you spending your time on Labour Day the “right” way? Will you enjoy the true essence of the last summer long weekend?
Labour Day originates from a union movement that started in Toronto over a hundred years ago and spread across Canada. Today, it represents a celebration of the economic and social achievements of all workers. The annual celebration advocates for the type of work-life balance we may now consider ideal: a day divided into eight hours for work, eight hours for recreation, and eight hours for rest.
At WildPlay Element Parks, we’re big fans of those recreation hours, and we’re determined to help you make the most of that time.
To celebrate eight hours of active Labour Day recreation, every British Columbia Park will surprise eight lucky guests with a free* (pre-booked) Element adventure - one guest per hour for each of the eight hours we’re open on Monday, September 3rd!
All guests, at all Park locations, are eligible to win the random draw when they check-in on Labour Day!
What more reason do you need to pause the house work, clock out of the office, and skip the tasks and toils that always infringe on your recreation time. Instead, feel the true freedom of Labour Day with an end-of-summer aerial adventure.
Call a Park or go online to reserve an Element. We’ll see you at check-in!
TIPS to make the most of Labour Day play:
- Bring a picnic. Our Parks have tables – and lots of critters – to make sharing a post-play meal more fun.
- Bring the family or neighbourhood kids for a final back-to-school play day.
- Wear white one last time before the fashion police start issuing citations ;) (Just remember that trees make sap, and sap stains clothes. Keep the couture in the closet.)
*Conditions apply. Must be age of majority in province of British Columbia to win. Not applicable to WildPlay Yukon. No purchase necessary; one prize will be drawn randomly every hour from 9:00 a.m. (PST) to 4:00 p.m. (PST) on Monday, September 3, 2012 at participating WildPlay Element Parks locations. Eligible guests must meet Element access requirements at time of check-in. No cash value. Non-transferrable between Elements or guests. Cannot be combined with other offers, passes, or discounts.
